Background:
Augmentas Group, a small business with a team of five experienced professionals, excels in government procurement and sales, leveraging a proven track record of delivering significant contracts. Previously reliant on an outsourced marketing team, the company hired me to work on various aspects of their marketing strategy. My role included social media management and other marketing efforts, designed to effectively communicate their expertise.
Challenge:
Augmentas Group faced challenges in consistently managing their social media presence and driving meaningful engagement. Their audience growth had plateaued, and they needed a more dynamic approach to showcase their expertise and connect with their target audience. The lack of fresh visual content and optimised posting strategies limited their ability to engage effectively.
Solution:
To address Augmentas Group’s social media challenges, I implemented a structured approach to social media management. This comprehensive approach ensured that Augmentas Group’s social media presence became a powerful tool for showcasing their expertise, building community, and driving traffic to their website, while also fostering direct connections with key stakeholders.
🔹I reviewed the company’s existing social media accounts to refine their profile aesthetics, update bios with targeted keywords, and align the overall branding with their expertise and values. This initial groundwork ensured a cohesive and professional appearance.
🔹In addition to managing organic content, a LinkedIn outbound messaging strategy was implemented to proactively engage with target audiences. This included identifying key contacts, crafting personalised messages, and initiating conversations to build relationships and increase visibility among decision-makers in their sector.
🔹A consistent posting schedule was developed to maintain regular engagement with the audience. This involved planning, scheduling, and posting content at optimal times to maximise reach and visibility.
🔹High-quality, tailored content was central to the strategy. I created visually appealing graphics, curated images, and edited video posts to make the feed dynamic and engaging. Each post was crafted to communicate Augmentas Group’s expertise, values, and achievements while encouraging interaction.
🔹Building community trust was a priority. I actively monitored and responded to comments and messages, fostering meaningful connections with followers. This helped to humanise the brand and establish stronger relationships with their audience.
🔹I regularly analysed key metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, and post impressions. These insights were shared with the team through detailed reports, which highlighted successes and informed adjustments to improve performance further.
Result:
🔹The follower count grew from approximately 600 to 1,164 over six months, which is a 94% increase in followers during that period.
🔹The number of website users increased from 348 to 1,573, representing a 353% growth in user traffic (this is also thanks to other marketing activities).
🔹Post engagement grew from 1,212 to 3,355, reflecting a 177% increase in engagement. 🔹Engagement rate per impression also increased by 32% – meaning the posts were more enagaging than ever!

Indie Law, a law firm specialising in trademark protection for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and creatives, partnered with Skybreaker, a virtual assistant agency offering comprehensive support to business owners. Both companies were already experiencing growth but recognised the need for a more strategic approach to social media management to further drive their success. With the leadership team feeling time-poor and unable to dedicate the necessary attention to marketing, they brought me in to manage the social media team and lead their digital marketing strategy, allowing them to focus on other key business areas.
Challenge:
The primary challenge was that the leadership team at Indie Law and Skybreaker was stretched thin, making it difficult to prioritise social media management and other aspects of marketing. While both brands were growing rapidly, their social media presence was not reflecting this success. They needed a dedicated professional to create and execute a strategic social media plan that would elevate their brands, engage their target audiences, and generate leads—without adding more to their already full plate.

As part of the commercial team, I was brought on board to bolster the company’s brand awareness through content production and management while contributing to the development of competitive and profitable travel products. I worked closely with the internal design team, digital marketing team, and suppliers to ensure that all aspects of the marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and enhanced the company’s presence in the market.
Challenge:
The main challenge was to increase the company’s visibility in a highly competitive travel market while ensuring that the travel products were commercially viable and met customer expectations. The leadership team wanted to strengthen Serenity Holidays’ online presence, particularly on social media, and improve the overall product offering, while ensuring that all marketing materials were consistent, informative, and aligned with the company’s brand. Additionally, there was a need to produce high-quality, SEO-optimised content for blogs, email campaigns, and social media that would drive engagement and increase bookings.
Solution:
To address these challenges, I took a hands-on approach to developing and managing content across multiple channels, optimising the travel products for market competitiveness, and collaborating with the internal teams for seamless execution. My approach included:
